Learn English
English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes will help you learn English for everyday living and help you prepare for the workplace.
Assessment
Before you are placed in an English class, you will have your English level assessed. Assessments are based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks. The test measures your skill in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The assessment will allow you to be referred to an appropriate language training program in Manitoba.
Students in our English classes will be assessed by their teacher and provided with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) report when they finish the class.
