The Brandon ENTRY Program provides important information to newcomers about Brandon and Canada. The program provides information over a four-week period for newcomers who have limited English language proficiency.
Weekly themes of Welcome to Brandon, Health and Safety, Employment and Education, and Canadian Laws are taught by EAL teachers. Once a week, interpreters and community presenters help participants better understand the most important information.
The ENTRY program is a great place for newcomers to learn about their new community. Every particpant who completes the ENTRY Program will receive an appointment for CLB Testing and then be registered for EAL classes.
ENTRY classes are available in the mornings or afternoons (Monday to Thursday)or Tuesday and Thursday evenings. New students may start at the beginning of every month.
A one-day session (ENTRY EXPRESS) is available for newcomers who are proficient in Eng;ish.For more information call the reception desk at 727-6031 ext. 0 to make an appointment to register for this program.
